Efficacy
Over 21,000 instillations of Uracyst have been administered in Canada and the product is now widely available in many countries across Europe as well as Canada.
The efficacy of Uracyst in the management of PBS/IC has been demonstrated in two main clinical studies.
- Study 1 - Nickel et al 2008
- Study 2 - Nickel et al 2009 – the first positive placebo-controlled study for a GAG replenishment intravesical therapy for PBS/IC
