Instillation volume
Each vial of Uracyst contains 400mg of chondroitin sulfate in a 20ml solution.

- Uracyst contains the smallest volume of solution to be instilled in the bladder per treatment.
- A difference of 20 or 30ml may be substantial for some patients with PBS/IC, particularly in terms of holding the solution in the bladder for the recommended period of time
- Uracyst may be more suitable than Gepan for patients with shrunken bladders, due to the lower instillation volume per treatment
